Ragababe 2 Step Diaper -- A First Glance

I received my first Ragababe diaper last week and I was very excited to try it out on my daughter.  They are rather infamous with a cult following.  Diapers are only stocked once a week and will sell out in a matter of seconds.  The task was rather daunting and I failed at my first try because I was not aware of all the stocking (or stalking) tips and tricks.  My 2nd time was a success and I snagged two of the 2 step diapers in size 2.  I was ecstatic!

I could hardly wait for them to arrive and when they did I was very pleased.  They were packaged nicely, came with 2 snap-in inserts, one large and the other a doubler.  It included a personal note from Joy, the CEO and founder of Ragababe.  At first glance the diapers are pure eye candy.  The whole punk/rocker look I'm very much enjoying and it all focuses around the star tabs that meet in the middle. The angular cut of the velcro tabs also help it to have an edgier feeling to them.  I got to design my own color choice in snaps on one of the diapers and was quite pleased with the way it turned out.

The quality is outstanding with it being trim yet sturdy.  The stitching is superior and flawless.  I cannot believe the elastics on this diaper!  They are very wide and feel really gentle when pulling them.  One of my biggest complaints about cloth diapers is the way they are tight around my daughters waist and thighs to get a good fit...and she's not a chunk in any manner!  My favorite part of this diaper is the inserts.  They are thick, but not too think, and its outer layer is an organic cotton sherpa with a bamboo interior.  They seem like they would be able to hold a lot of liquid without having to worry about leaks or compression leaks.  The fact that they are organic and a natural fiber are a bonus.  Having those types of materials against my daughters bum is what I prefer.

Testing to come, complete with photos!
